Zamora Victoria Alvarez Obituary, Death – On Sunday, March 5, 2023, in the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Zamora Victoria Alvarez passed away at the age of 63 and went to be with the Lord. Her parents, Arthur and Martha Harrison, welcomed her into the world on October 7th, 1959. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Mexico, where she also got her Master of Science degree. She graduated from Valley High School in 1977.
Before being known for the culinary programs she teaches at Cibola and West Mesa High School, she began her professional life by establishing a number of early childhood development programs that she went on to become known for. Their children knew her to be their number one fan and the person who supported them the most, in addition to their father. Her relatives and siblings thought of her as their guardian and the solid foundation of the family unit. She had a profound impact on so many people’s lives and will be sorely missed.
Her mother, Martha Harrison, as well as her brother, Artie Harrison, both passed away before she did. Marissa Zamora, David Zamora and his wife Amberly, and Matthew Zamora are Victoria’s children. She is also survived by her sister Edwina Harrison, her sister Yvonne Martinez and her husband Paul, her brother Vincent Harrison and his wife Yvette, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Victoria was married to Richard Zamora for forty years. Her father was Arthur Harrison.
Her son Matthew Zamora and her nephews Christopher Hays, Michael Armijo, Anthony Zamora, Vincent Harrison Jr., Eric Harrison, and Isaac Martinez will serve as pallbearers during the funeral service. Victoria was an educator at APS for a total of 37 years. She was someone who had an interest in learning, and she was also someone who understood how to make others around her happy.
