Terry Swain Obituary, Death – Terry Lynn Swain, who had lived in Taylorsville and had reached the age of 67 at the time of his passing on April 6, 2023, was found dead in Alexander County under mysterious circumstances. Terry was brought into the world on June 3, 1955, in the county of Iredell in North Carolina. Terry Swain was born after the deaths of both of his parents, Thomas Larry Swain and Alice Dean Mills Swain, who both passed away before Terry was born. Terry is the only child that they have.
He was the proprietor of his own company, had a passion for working with wood, and placed a significant emphasis on his family, particularly his offspring and grandchildren. In addition to this, he possessed an unwavering commitment to his family.
He was predeceased not just by his parents but also by his sister, Lisa Harwell, who also died before he did. Even his own parents had long since left us behind.
Those left to cherish his memories include: his wife, Kimberly “Kim” Miller Swain of the home; his children, Shannon Lynn Swain (Amy) of Statesville, Mellony Price (Joshua) of Elkin, Tommy Campbell, Jr., Corrie Reavis: his grandchildren, Damian Swain, Carly Campbell, Bailey Price, Alyson Price, Chelsie Reavis, Parker Price, Ayden Reavis, Shiloh Price; his sisters, Cindy Kidd, Donna Sherrill both of Harmony; and his beloved dog, Max. On the evening of Friday, April 14, 2023, from six to eight o’clock in the evening, friends and relatives of Terry will gather at the National Guard Armory in Taylorsville to celebrate his life and pay homage to his memory. The event will take place on the day after Terry passed away. In Terry’s honor, this gathering will take place at some point in the future.
