Steven Dunn Obituary DeMotte, Indiana, Has sadly passed away

Steven Dunn Obituary Death – Even Hutson Dunn, a resident of Houston, Texas, lost his struggle with frontotemporal dementia early on March 28, 2023, and passed away shortly thereafter. He was 63. In the year 1959, D. Camille and Ralph Orace Dunn Jr. welcomed three children into the world. Steven is the youngest of the three children.

After receiving his diploma from The Kinkaid School in 1977, he continued his education at the University of Texas in Austin and received his bachelor’s degree there in 1982. After completing his residency in ophthalmology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, Steven became a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology in the year 1991. Steven obtained his medical degree from Baylor College in 1987.

Before becoming an optometrist for Vision America in San Antonio, Steven worked as an ophthalmologist in the same field alongside his father, Dr. Ralph Dunn, and his uncle, Dr. Rodney Hutson, all of whom owned their own practices. In 2001, Steven launched his general ophthalmology practice at Houston Eye Associates, where he continues to provide care for his patients. Not only was Steve skilled in medicine and surgery, but also in spiritual counseling and humanitarian work.

As a result, he was able to have a positive impact on the lives of a great number of people. His love for the Lone Star State brought Steven to Vanderpool, Texas, where he settled down on a tiny ranch in the Texas Hill Country. There, he spent time with cows, bulls, longhorns, and eventually far too many donkeys. Steve operated a fleet of ranch equipment and spent his time working on a variety of mixed ranch operations, such as moving soil, removing cedar, building roads, and other similar tasks. One of his catchphrases was something to the effect of, “It sure beats paying a therapist!”
