Shamichael Rochell Obituary, Death – The office of the Caddo Parish Coroner has identified the individual who was killed in the shooting that took place in the Queensborough area of Shreveport late on Friday night. The incident resulted in the victim’s death. The event resulted in the death of one individual.
Shortly after 8:30 o’clock in the evening, the lifeless corpse of Shamichael Demontae Rochell, 23, a native of Shreveport, was discovered close to the junction of Missouri Avenue and Stonewall Street. It was determined that Rochell had passed away due to natural causes. He had many gunshot wounds and was riddled with bullet holes as a result.
The comparison of Rochell’s fingerprints to the prints of many other people was the key step in establishing beyond a reasonable doubt that he was the person in question. The Shreveport Police Department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death and the actions that led up to it.
It was decided that the body need to be opened up and examined by a pathologist. The year 2023 will end with a total of 23 killings committed in Caddo Parish and the city of Shreveport combined. This particular homicide takes the overall number of homicides committed in these two areas to 23.
