Rodney Wagner Obituary, Death – Rodney Wagner (Baldy), our cherished son, brother, husband, and uncle, passed away unexpectedly on April 5th, and we are overjoyed to be able to share with you the news of his departure. He was known as “Baldy.” Unanticipatedly, he was taken away from us.
At the golf course that our family owned, he was in charge of everything, from mowing the grass and maintaining the course to repairing the golf carts and other pieces of equipment. He was also in charge of the accounting for the course. After Rodney passes away, his wife Sandra, along with their children Alaina and Adam, will make a concerted effort to ensure that his legacy will go on after they are no longer able to carry it forward in his stead. This will happen after Rodney’s passing.
We regret to notify you that he has passed away; it is with the deepest sympathy that we do so. We are going to miss him very much. It was common practice to refer to him as “Baldy” in regular speech. In spite of the fact that Baldy wasn’t much of a golfer, he was instrumental in shaping the Hardwood Hills Golf Course into what it is today. The course is named after him. Even though he was not very good at the game, it is nonetheless named after him.
