Radrick Francois Obituary, Death – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has identified the individual who is wanted for questioning in connection with the homicide of a woman and her child in Orlando. The sheriff’s office was able to locate and apprehend 20-year-old Radrick Francois, who was then charged with two counts of first-degree murder with the use of a handgun.
The victims of the shooting have been identified as Tanishia Starr, age 39, and her daughter, Tanga Owens, age 20. According to the findings of the investigation, Francois and Owens were involved in a dispute about custody, and Francois had allegedly made a previous threat to kill Owens.
The witnesses told the detectives that they were in the car at the time of the shooting and that they were at the location where they were dropping off and picking up their children for child custody. This took happened on Friday at 11:30 in the morning at the Lake Sherwood homes that are located on London Crest Drive.
According to the detectives, Francois is believed to have fled the site of the shooting while holding Owens’ daughter, who is two years old, in his arms after the shooting took place. Owens was transporting his infant child, who was just eight months old at the time, in the car at the time. None of them suffered any kind of injury in any kind.
In the affidavit that was filed for Francois’s arrest, it is said that he reportedly acknowledged the incident and indicated that he shot at Owens in self-defense before accidentally shooting Owens’ mother. As a result of the incident, Francois was taken into custody. Francois is currently being held in custody without the opportunity to post bond.
