Pedro Rudd Obituary, Death – This morning, our Beloved Member Pedro Rudd passed away, and our hearts are filled with a great deal of pain. Regarding the funeral preparations, I will communicate with everyone as soon as possible. Peter attended Mt. Pleasant High School in Schenectady, New York, and then went on to Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After that, he attended the RPI Hartford campus to study management. He started his professional life off working for General Electric, where he ultimately graduated from the BTC training program.
After leaving General Electric, he worked as a District Manager for Shell Oil, and then he joined Quamco, Inc. in 1980 and stayed there until 1993, where he held the positions of Division President and Managing Partner. Peter had the good fortune to spend a significant portion of his work traveling the world, but going on these adventures with his wife was his absolute favorite part. After he retired, he looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren and family on vacations that included cruising.
Peter and his wife were the original owners of their home in Worthington, and Peter was not only well-liked by everyone there but also a dedicated golfer who was actively involved throughout the course of those many years in the club’s efforts to improve its appearance and functionality. During the past decade, he has held the positions of President of Single Family II and Member of the Master Board. Many people knew him for the daily walks he took with his grand puppy, Winston, as well as for his love of riding all around the neighborhood, where he would always stop to talk or offer a wave or a simple hello accompanied by the warmest grins possible. He was a kind and generous man.
