Patrick Smith Obituary, Death – The unfortunate event took place on March 20th, 2023. After his family and his country, the great outdoors and natural beauty were the things that Pat cared about the most in the world. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and liked to spend time fishing in trout streams where the water was around knee-deep. Above all else, the time he got to spend with his kids and grandchildren was the thing he treasured the most.
His children Timothy (who is married to Anna), Maggie (who is married to Ben), Chris, Lauren (who is married to Anthony), and Peter; his grandkids; two brothers; ten sisters; and a great number of dedicated nieces, nephews, and friends are among those who survive him. His daughters Maggie (who is married to Ben), Chris, and Lauren (who is married to Anthony); his grandkids; and his children Timothy (who is married to Anna) all survive him.
St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, which can be found at 809 S. Broom Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19805, will have a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 28, at 10:30 am. Family members and close friends are cordially invited to attend. At the Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, which is situated at 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, Delaware 19805, friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Monday, March 27, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery in Yorklyn, Delaware, immediately after the Mass. Family wishes that memorial donations be provided in Pat’s honor to Family Promise of New Castle County, which can be sent to 2104 St. James Church Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19808. In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be given.
