A chef who worked at the hotel passed away the Saturday before last as a result of injuries he received in a car accident that occurred nearby as well. Omaine Brown, 25 years old, formerly of Hopewell Park in Discovery Bay, St. Ann, was identified as the deceased. According to a report filed by the authorities, Brown was behind the wheel of a Toyota Starlet motorcar in the area of the Bahia Principe Hotel about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which resulted in it crashing into a concrete utility pole.
The force of the accident caused the car to shatter into two separate pieces as a result of the impact. Videos showing the severely damaged automobile have been shared across various social media platforms. Brown was taken to the hospital, but he was unable to recover from his injuries and passed away there. In addition to his work as a chef, the aspiring dancehall musician was known by his stage name, “Lando Sickadon.”
According to his Instagram page, he published the track ‘Make it Out’ in November of the previous year. His other singles are titled “Child,” “Blazing,” and “Rich Life,” with Jea Skull appearing on the latter of those titles.
