Motorcycle Accident, Death – Woodstock Ontario; Man Dies Following Single-Vehicle Crash

Woodstock Ontario Accident, Death – A lone car collision that occurred in Saint-Quentin was the cause of death of a 62-year-old man who was originally from Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick. The incident took place in the city of Saint-Quentin. On the morning of April 13, 2023, at 10:40 a.m., officers from the Saint-Quentin RCMP detachment responded to a call of a crash that had occurred on Route 180 in Saint-Quentin. The crash involved a single car. When the incident occurred, one of the vehicles that was involved was a tanker truck that was carrying a load of oil.

The collision caused the driver of the vehicle, who was also the only occupant of the vehicle, to sustain serious injuries; as a result, he passed away at the scene of the accident shortly after it occurred. The tanker truck, which had been headed in a westerly direction previous to the event, is thought to have veered off the road and flipped onto its side as a result of the accident, which is a theory that has been put forth to explain what happened.

An inspector from the Department of Environment and Local Government was present at the site, in addition to members of the Saint-Quentin Volunteer Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and the Department of Justice and Public Safety. Also there was a member of the Saint-Quentin Volunteer Fire Department. In addition, a member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office was there at the scene, and they are lending their assistance to the investigation that is being carried out at this very moment in time. In order to ascertain the man’s specific cause of death and consequently be in a position to make funeral preparations that are befitting of his status, an autopsy will be performed.
