Mary E. Diamond Obituary, Death – Mary E. Diamond, who resided in Haines City, Florida, and had 86 years of age, passed away on May 1, 2012. Her birth took place in the town of Plainfield in the state of New Jersey. James and Rose (Horan) Caffrey were her father and mother, respectively. She moved to the Haines City area in 2002, but she was originally from Lake Placid, which is located in the state of Florida. Accounting was Mrs. Diamond’s profession, and she worked in the financial industry.
In addition to this, she was an involved participant in the activities of the NF Society, Women of the Moose, Columbites, and St. Ann Catholic Church. Her interests included camping and gardening, and she traveled to a great number of different countries. Her family members that preceded her in death include her parents, her son Leonard Diamond Jr., and her brothers John and James Caffrey. She is the only member of her immediate family that is still alive today.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Diamond, Sr.; son Anthony Diamond (and his wife Holly); daughters Bernadette (Julius A.) Elias, Mary Ellen Diamond, and Elizabeth Baldwin; as well as seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Diamond, Jr. A Memorial Mass is planned to be held on May 8 at 11 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, Florida. The church is located in Florida.
