Marcella Walter Obituary, Death – Marcy is survived by her loving family, which includes her husband John Walter, her children Corey (Dewey) Messer and Christopher Walter, her grandchildren Alivia, Jonah, Elijah, Remington, Jaxon, Taylor, Reese, and Travis, her great grandchildren Jasia, Malachi, Kamden, RJ, Cash, and Aria, as well as her siblings David (Katie) Ridge, Gary (Michelle) York, Mona (Waylan) Murray, Angel Her parents and daughter Jessica Walter Walter all before her in death. Marcy is the only member of her family to still be alive today.
Spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren, was Marcy’s top priority whenever she had the opportunity. She was a painter of considerable skill who also took pleasure in the pastime. Throughout her life, she was a devoted Christian who took great joy in serving in a variety of roles within the church. She did this work in the context of the church. Everyone who knew Marcy was aware of how profoundly she cared for her family and friends, as well as how warm and loving she was at all times. She was also known for her welcoming and friendly nature. She was a priceless jewel, and the void that will be left in our lives by her passing will be incalculable.
Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, which can be found in Sidney, Ohio 45365 at 302 S. Main Ave., will be the location of the funeral services that will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at noon. The service will be led by Pastor Preston Knasel who will also serve as the officiant. The interment will take place at Shelby Memory Gardens immediately following the service. On Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 AM and lasting until the beginning of the funeral, the family will receive friends. The service itself will begin at 12:00 PM.
