Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident, Motorcyclist Dead after Early Morning Crash in Tempe

Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident – A fatal accident occurred early on Saturday morning when a biker was unable to navigate a curve in the area of Mill Avenue and Apache Boulevard. At approximately three in the morning, officers from the Tempe Police Department responded to reports of the accident. Upon arrival, they discovered that a motorcyclist had gone off the road while attempting to make a turn. He was pronounced dead at the spot.

A bottle of alcohol was discovered close to the motorcycle, but no helmet could be seen anywhere in the area. A biker was killed after their vehicle collided with the back of a Motorist Assistance Patrol Unit driven by a Department of Transportation employee who was on their way to assist another driver on Interstate 10. Sunday evening at approximately 7:48 o’clock, an accident that resulted in a fatality occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 10 close to the Canal Street exit.

According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), the inquiry revealed that a motorcycle driver was allegedly weaving in and out of traffic before he somehow lost control of his motorbike and collided with the back of the MAP Unit. The biker was thrown from his bike and landed in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 after being ejected from his bike. He was transferred to a nearby hospital, but he did not survive his injuries and passed away there. The New Orleans Police Department’s traffic fatality investigators are working hard to piece together the events that led up to the tragic motorbike accident.
