loni Joelle Fehr Obituary, Manitoba Canadian Longtime Native Has Passed Away

loni Joelle Fehr Obituary, Death – Daughter of the late Angelo Vaccaro and Grace Ferrare Vaccaro, Louise was born in Rome, New York. Leonard Carissimo, whom she wed, died in October 1963. Louise worked with special needs children at Rome State School until she retired. She has attended St. John the Baptist Church for many years. Louise, who loved being called “Grandma Lu Lu” by her many grandchildren, was the center of her world. Her warm smile, gentle words, pure heart, and unwavering commitment to her family will be remembered and cherished long after her body has decayed.

Camille and Joseph Beck of Fort Myers, Florida, and Paula and Tony Borruso of Rome are Louise’s surviving children and sons-in-law. Melissa and Howard Rath of Hebron, Connecticut; Denise and James Wallace of Belleville, New York; Anthony and Julie Borruso of Safety Harbor, Florida; Loni and Steve Rowell of Hingham, Massachusetts; Joelle and Robert Prosser of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania; Joseph and Keri Beck of Wakefield,

Rhode Island; and Karissa and Todd Schutt of Geneva, New York; as well as fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  Jenny, her devoted sister, was there at her deathbed and will never forget the selfless care she received. Her special pals in Rome are Louise Silva, Lillian Ritchie, and Jean Catanzaro. Pauline Gratch, Mary Bommarito, Nelly Vaccaro, and Margaret Mariano were her four sisters, while Jim, Dominick, and Sandy Vaccaro were her brothers; all seven of them have since passed away.

Staff at Rome Memorial Residential Healthcare took excellent care of the family’s beloved Grandma Lu Lu. On Friday, September 17 at 11:00 a.m., family and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church. St. John’s Cemetery is where the body will be laid to rest. There is no set time for phone calls. Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., located at 218 W. Court Street, is in charge of the arrangements. Flowers are not appropriate.
