Keith Skaggs Obituary, Death – We are all in a state of tremendous mourning as a result of the unexpected demise of a member of our AAA family. On April 7th, there was a collision in Cincinnati that involved a large number of vehicles. One of the three people who were killed as a result of this incident was a 37-year-old man named Keith Skaggs. He had just started the process of loading a member’s vehicle onto the back of the tow truck when the accident occurred. The vehicle was being towed by him.
Both of the individuals who were harmed were taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and one of the individuals who was hurt was a member of our organization. As soon as he started working for the Cincinnati Fleet in January of this year, Keith established a name for himself as a conscientious employee who has a constructive attitude on life. This is a very difficult moment for all of us, but especially for those employees who worked closely with Keith, and we are here to support them as they go through this challenging period. This is an extraordinarily tragic loss for all of us.
We will be grateful until the end of time for the unselfish gesture that Keith performed when he was assisting one of our members along the side of the road. The safety of our drivers, the safety of the other first responders, and the safety of the members we serve will always be our top priority, and we will continue to stress how important the Slow Down, Move Over campaign is. Our thoughts and prayers are with Keith’s family and friends, as well as all of the other families and employees who have been adversely impacted as a result of this terrible event.
