Katie Lavin Obituary, Death – Katie Watt Lavin, who was a loving and selfless wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and teacher, went away abruptly and unexpectedly during the past weekend. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and teacher in addition to being all of those things. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and teacher, in addition to all of these other roles that she played in her family’s life. Her function in the family encompassed a variety of facets.
She was a substantial contributor to our family and will be mourned by all of us owing to the influence she had on our day-to-day activities and she will be dearly missed by all of us. She was a really important part of our family unit. During this challenging time, Katie, her families Lavin and Watt, as well as all of the members of Katie’s extended family, would be immensely grateful if you could keep them in your thoughts and prayers. On Thursday, April 13, there will be a wake held at the Chapey Funeral Home in West Islip from three in the afternoon until five in the evening, and then again from seven in the evening until nine in the evening.
Both wakes will begin and end at the same location. Both wakes are scheduled to start at three o’clock in the afternoon. This event is going to take place at a variety of different times throughout the course of the day. In memory of the individual who has passed away, a funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 14, at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church located in Babylon.
