Joni Shattuck Obituary, Death – When the awful news that a member of the Richmond-Pinole Lions Club had just passed away spread across our organization, there was an incredible amount of pain felt throughout the entirety of our organization. Joni Shattuck was a longtime member of the Richmond-Pinole Lions Club. Joni has been a member of the club for a very long time.
Joni was one of a kind; she possessed a great deal of talent, and her heart was brimming to overflowing with love for all of the people who were important to her. Both she and her late husband, Jim, were committed members of the Lions club for a number of years until Jim’s passing. Jim was a member of the club until the time of his death. Prior to his passing, Jim had spent a good portion of his life as a contributing member of the club.
Jim was a member of the club right up to the day he died away, and he did not resign his membership. There is not even the faintest sliver of a shadow of a doubt in any part of my mind that she and Jim are having a wonderful time together in paradise; in fact, there is not even the tiniest grain of a question in any part of my mind. A funeral service for Joni will be held on April 20 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Richmond.
Which can be found on Barrett Avenue. The service will begin at that time. The celebration will be held with Joni as the focus of attention. When that point in time arrives, the service will officially begin. Know that none of us will ever forget you, Joni, and may you finally discover the serenity that you’ve been looking for all these time.
