Jim Jansen Obituary, Death – James John Joseph Jansen Jr. was brought into the world on January 14, 1956 in the city of Kaukauna, Wisconsin. His parents, Florence and James Jansen, were the proud parents. On Friday, January 28th, 2022, Jim passed away while he was at his home. He received his diploma from Kimberly High School and immediately enrolled in an apprenticeship program to become a steamfitter.
Because he worked as a steamfitter for such a long time, he was able to visit many different places and make a lot of acquaintances along the way. Jim had a passion for being physically active and spending time in nature. He was an avid runner who took pleasure in competing in the local 5K races. He was a passionate admirer of Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers, as well as hunting, fishing, woodworking, and gardening. He cherished the time he got to spend with his family during the summer months in Minocqua.
Jim is survived by his three daughters: Danielle (Christopher) Gehrke, Taryn (Jason) Kohl, and Samantha (Corey) Severson, all of whom were raised by their mothers, Vicky, and Julie respectively. Grandchildren; Taylor Kohl, Jayden Mahlke, Denna Gehrke, Brayden Kohl and Kailyana Gehrke. Jeff Jansen, who is married to Pam, Michael Jansen, who is married to Cheryl, and Patricia Jansen are his siblings. And a significant number of nieces and nephews. And he was taken from this world before his parents and the much-loved family dogs.
In accordance with his wishes, a gathering of close relatives and friends will take place at a later time to celebrate his life. Because of his history of health problems, we would want to make any donations to the American Heart Association and the Michael J. Fox foundation for the purpose of researching a treatment for Parkinson’s disease.
