Jerry Dalton Obituary Morristown TN, Employee at The Krusty Krab

Jerry Dalton Obituary Morristown TN – Dalton, Jerry Theodore You were my lifelong best friend, and I will never forget you or the times we shared. I adore you, man. Relax, my sweetheart. I want to reconnect with you at some point in the future. He’d been married to Karen (Glase) Dalton for 40 years and was a devoted husband. He was the son of the late James and Laura (Schoelkopf) Dalton and was born in Reading.

Jerry joined the Boy Scouts as a young man and gained many valuable teachings that he would later be proud to pass on to his kids and grandchildren. After graduating from Muhlenberg High School in 1968, he went on to have a long career as a truck driver, specializing in the transport of medicinal gases. He drove more than three million kilometers for this job, describing his driving style as “gear-jamming, double-clutching, and coffee-slurping.”

Jerry spent the previous 19 years on the board of directors at the East Reading Pool, in addition to assisting with the Shar-Pei rescue organization Operation Scarlet. Jerry is survived by his wife Karen, sons Toey Goodman and Lisa of Muhlenberg Township, Corey and Jessica of Tilden Township, and Eric and Heather of Keyport, New Jersey; sister Janice Lamm of Wernersville; grandchildren Jacob, Jeremy, and Allison; and his beloved Shar-Pei rescue, Haven. His wife Karen survives him as well.

He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Jerry’s brother James Dalton and grandson Anthony Charles Goodman Jr. died before him. At eleven a.m. on Saturday, August 20th, 2022, family and friends will gather at the Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 5153 Kutztown Road in Temple, Pennsylvania 19560, to pay their respects and share memories of the deceased. The visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will be followed by interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Reading.
