Jamie Lynn Obituary, Death – The name of a local woman who passed away suddenly after being struck by a train on Sunday afternoon close to the Fairfield Station has been made public by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The incident occurred in the vicinity of the station. The occurrence happened in the general area surrounding the station. (MTA). It was determined that her full name was Jamie Ann Lynn, and that she was 43 years old. Her complete name was determined to be Jamie Ann Lynn.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Police Department has reached the conclusion that her passing was not associated with anything suspicious. It was reported that Lynn was involved in a collision with a Metro-North train travelling in the westbound direction that took place at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. According to the officials, the train was in a station that was located to the east of the Fairfield station when the crash took place. A portion of the railway rails was blocked off by the police on Sunday afternoon in order to prohibit access to that portion of the tracks.
The cordon was placed directly east of the train station off of Post Road. There were at least two MTA police cruisers and one vehicle that belonged to the local police department that were parked at the location where the incident took place. On Monday, officers from the Fairfield Police Department asked the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) questions. On Sunday, the ride from Green’s Farms to Bridgeport was more slower than usual, taking up to 65 minutes longer than usual to complete.
