James Tait Obituary, Death – The arrangements for the funeral of the late James Tait, also known as Jim, have been made, and it is with a heavy heart that we must inform you of these arrangements. During this trying time, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. In all of the roles that he played in the family—husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather—Jim was a treasured part of
each and every one of them. Jim was well-known to a large number of people as a result of the roles that he played as an officer in the junior section of the 5th Wishaw Boys Brigade, as a member of the Wishaw Methodist Church for a considerable amount of time, as a devoted supporter of the Glasgow Tigers Speedway, and as an industry leader in Bakery Engineering. All of these activities contributed to Jim’s notoriety. The fact that he was so knowledgable with pie machines gained him the nickname “Jimmy the Pie Man” among his
contemporaries. As a consequence of this, he rose to prominence on a global scale. Jim, who was 81 years old when he passed away on April 6, 2023, passed away calmly while being attended to by medical experts at Monklands Hospital. It was only 23 days after the demise of his beloved wife, Sadie, that he also passed away. During the last moments of his life, he was surrounded by the compassionate care of
his family on both sides of the family. On Tuesday, April 25, at 1:30 o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a memorial ceremony held at the Holytown Crematorium in honor of those who have passed away. The service will be held in memory of those who have passed. Has Sadly Passed AwayFollowing the conclusion of the memorial service, Jim’s family would like to extend a cordial invitation to anyone and everyone in attendance to join them at the Newmains Bowling Club for some refreshments as well as an additional time to reflect on Jim’s life and celebrate his legacy. Immediately following the conclusion of the service, this will take place.
