Gwnfor (Gwyn) Rees Obituary, Death – It was reported earlier today by the Morgan Rugby Club that Gwnfor (Gwyn) Rees had passed away, and the club did so with a sorrowful heart due to the loss of such a beloved member. His infectious laugh and witty one-liners will be sadly missed by everyone. On behalf of each and every member of the Monarchs Hockey Club, our deepest condolences are sent your way.
Gwyn will always be remembered with fondness. Was Morgan all the way through, but more importantly, he was a rugby man who liked the game and recognized when individuals were giving their all for rugby without allowing their egos to get in the way. He was a Morgan through and through. Gwyn hailed from the towns of Glanwern, Felinfach, and Lampeter in his youth. At the moment, he can be seen residing in Edison Crescent in Clydach.
Beloved husband of the late Sheila, devoted father of Paul, loving father-in-law of Jan, adored grandfather and great grandfather, loved brother, dear brother-in-law, and treasured uncle. Sheila passed away in 2013. Paul and Jan’s father-in-law passed away in 2014. In 2013, Sheila sadly lost away. In 2014, Paul and Jan’s father-in-law unfortunately passed away.On Friday, January 13, 2023, funeral services will be held in memory of the deceased.
