Gene Barnhart Obituary, Death – We are telling you the terrible news with a heavy heart about the untimely death of Retired Officer Gene Barnhart because we will miss him so very much and because it is with a heavy heart that we break the news to you. Everyone here was taken aback by the news of his passing. His passing came much too soon in his life and was entirely preventable. It came as a huge surprise when they announced he had passed away.
Everyone will do it in their own unique way, but they will all express their sadness at his departure. Gene began working for the PWCPD on October 1, 1970, and he continued to do so until he resigned from the department 21 years later, on August 1, 1995. During those 21 years, Gene served as a police officer. It had been exactly 21 years since he had begun working for the department when he finally decided to retire. He had been a member of the PWCPD for a combined total of 21 years when he made the decision to put up his badge and retire. He was a fascinating man who not only exuded a dominating presence but also had a wry sense of humor to match.
He was an all-around intriguing individual. He was a complex and multifaceted individual. He was an outstanding individual in each and every respect. Just being in his company was an extremely humiliating and uncomfortable experience for me. I felt like a fool. It is imperative that you do not forget to keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time. They could use your support more than you know. I beg you not to ignore the gravity of this responsibility. They may gain more advantages from having your cooperation than you are now aware of.
