His great-grandparents, Maxine and Ed Coughlin, William and Catherine Epperson, LaDonna Applegate, and Dalene Howard, as well as his uncle Joshua Applegate and his cousin Matthew Applegate, all passed away before Gabriel was born. In addition to this, Gabriel’s great-great-grandmother Dalene Howard had already passed away prior to his birth.
He is survived by his parents, Dustin Applegate and Teresa Applegate of Oakland, Iowa; his brother Maximus Applegate of Oakland, Iowa; his sister Anna Applegate of Oakland, Iowa; his grandparents, Dennis and Jean Coughlin of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and David and Sheila Applegate of Oakland, Iowa; and his aunts and uncles, including Dr. Andrew Coughlin and wife Jennifer of Papillion, Nebraska; James Coughlin and wife Nina of Omaha, Nebraska; Catherine Gill.
The lone child in the Applegate family was Gabriel Jase. Gabriel Jase Applegate’s birth was witnessed by his parents, Dustin Lee Applegate and Teresa Ann (Coughlin) Applegate. Dustin Lee Applegate and Teresa Ann (Coughlin) Applegate are known as Gabriel Jase Applegate’s parents. On April 9, 2023, Gabriel vanished when he was a patient at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. His disappearance occurred during this time. Since the previous year, he had been residing in that location.
