Donnie Hansard Obituary, Death – We are saddened to inform you of the demise of Donnie Hansard, a former member of the Broward County Airboat Club. It is with a heavy heart that we make this announcement. Donnie and his family had been active members of the club for many years prior to his relocation to Brooksville, Florida, which occurred three years ago.
Everyone who knew Donnie could easily see that he had a passion for air boating. He put in countless hours exploring the waters of the Everglades, and he did it with either a fishing rod or hunting equipment in his immediate vicinity at all times. It was impossible not to catch his contagious excitement for these hobbies, and he was always eager to share his knowledge and expertise with others.
Donnie’s life was cut tragically short while he was visiting Tennessee on a vacation.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky, and their three children, a son and two daughters, who were the sources of his greatest delight. He leaves behind his family. His family and friends will miss him tremendously, and his presence in the airboat club will be severely missed as well. Donnie will be remembered fondly. During this trying time, we would like to ask you to join us in sending our sincerest condolences to Donnie’s family. Donnie, may you finally rest in peace, and I am grateful for the memories we shared.
