Donald Mays Obituary, Death – Donald Mays, a resident of Falmouth, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the age of 78 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Ft. Thomas, which is located in the same state. It was in the city of Madison, Indiana, on March 15, 1945, that he was born; his parents, Jess and Willena Susan Petty Mays, have
both passed away since then. Donnie Mays was preceded in death by his wife Helen Sue Carr Mays, as well as his siblings Charlie Mays, Bobbie Mays, and Phoebe Stahl, all of whom were born before him. Donnie’s wife passed away before him, joining his parents as those who came before him in death. Donnie is survived by his daughter Tammy Moreland, his grandchildren Emily (Dustin) Wanner and Palmer (Tori) Moreland, and his great grandson Weslee
Wanner. In addition, Donnie is survived by his daughter Tammy Moreland. Emma Ship, his sister, is also one of the people who will miss him. Donnie was a Baptist Minister in addition to holding the positions of Sheriff of Pendleton County and Judge Executer for Pendleton County. He also served the community as a volunteer.
At the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler on the evening of Thursday, April 20, 2023, visitors can pay their respects from 6:00 until 9:00 pm.
