David Shallcross Obituary, Death – On April 9th, 2023, David Shallcross, who resided in Beaver and was 67 years old at the time of his passing, passed away. He was born in Bethel Park on June 21, 1955, and his parents, George Shallcross and Jean Shallcross, both passed away before his birth. He was their son. Dave had a prosperous career as a sales representative for many years, but he found that his true passion was serving others through voluntary work in the community.
He delivered unflagging service to the community during his tenure on the Beaver school board and the Beaver Borough Council, which spanned the years 1991 to 1999. In both capacities, he was elected by his peers. In addition to that, he was a devoted fan of all of the Pittsburgh, Beaver, and Bobcat athletic teams. Dave’s wife, Lynne Shallcross, of Beaver; son, Connor Shallcross, of Robinson Tp.; daughter, Courtney Shallcross, of Brooklyn, New York; brothers, George “Shelly” Shallcross, of Beaver and Jamie Shallcross, of Conroe, Texas; sisters, Pam (Chuck) Dorau, of Spring, Texas, and Jeannie (Rick) Rance, of Kingwood, Texas; sister-in-law, Fredrica “Ann”
In addition to his parents, his older brother William “Skip” Shallcross passed away before him. Both of his parents and his sibling had already passed away before he was born. Visitors are welcome to stop by the Noll Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 pm and 6:00 and 8:00 pm. The funeral home is situated at 333 Third Street in Beaver. A funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Beaver on Friday, April 14, 2023, at eleven in the morning. The service will take place on Good Friday. A later date has been set for the funeral, which will be followed by burial in the Beaver Cemetery.
