Darren Argabright Obituary, Death – Jackson Center resident Darren Talford Argabright, 50, passed suddenly on April 12, 2023 from injuries incurred in a car crash. He was born to Carol Ann (Klopfenstein) and the late Lewis Talford Argabright on August 24, 1972, in Lima, Ohio. Darren married Jennifer Catherine (Burch) Argabright on August 17, 1996, in Botkins, Ohio; they had three children:
Evan (fiancée Kelsie McKinney) Argabright, Megan Argabright, and Marin Argabright. Darren is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Scott and Kathleen Lotz; his sisters, Trena Hershberger and Karen (Wesley) Fambrough; his nephew, Owen Hershberger; his brothers, Case James Burch, Darren’s father-in-law, joined his own father in death before Darren.
Darren was a dedicated cattle and grain farmer who placed his family above anything else. He had a talent for developing show pigs, which he shared with his family. He and his loved ones frequently went to carnivals, fairs, and jackpot shows. On Thursdays, he would gather with friends and family to eat wings, play cards, and drink Crown Royal.
Darren enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns, deer hunting, snowmobiling, camping, and traveling. On Monday, April 17, 2023, calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 607 S. Main Street in Jackson Center. On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, located at 116 N. Mill Street in Botkins, will have a memorial service with Father Michael Willig as the officiant.
The family has requested that all attendees dress in “farm business” casual attire, which includes jeans, boots, and Hey Dudes shirts.
