Daniel Harding Obituary, Death – According to the state police, the motorcyclist who passed away over the weekend as a result of injuries he got in a collision was identified as Daniel Harding, age 20, from the town of Hughesville. Harding was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was said to have occurred at approximately 9:10 a.m. on Friday in front of the Muncy Bank and Trust, which is situated at 725 Route 405, as stated by the police.
The Lycoming County Coroner’s Office reports that Harding passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Saturday from injuries sustained from blunt force trauma. He was being treated in the intensive care unit at UPMC Williamsport at the time of his death. Harding was reportedly traveling in a northerly direction on his motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with the passenger side of a 2020 Ford Edge that was being driven by John Murray, who is from Muncy. From the lane that was designated for southbound center turns Murray attempted to make a turn into the bank parking lot.
At that point, the motorcycle is said to have “fallen on its side and gone across the travel lanes of Route 405 in a direction toward the west,” as stated by the police. According to the police, after that, Harding’s motorcycle crossed into the southbound lane and collided with the driver’s front tire of a Cadillac Escalade driven by Jane Buck of Hughesville. Buck was a resident of Hughesville. Hughesville is Buck’s hometown. Buck is a local.
