Dan Neil Obituary, Death – My brother-in-law, Dan Neil, died, but I wanted to make an official post on behalf of the Beddoe side of the family and my sister. Ricky and I received a heartbreaking phone call two days ago informing us that our brother-in-law had died in a motorcycle accident. Our family is grieving the abrupt and
heartbreaking loss of our joyful family member, who was full of love, laughter, and life. My sister and Dan recently became parents, and we’re all difficult to imagine life without him. He was already the most supportive father by accompanying my sister to all of her appointments and ultrasounds and taking pregnant pictures with her. Although public speaking wasn’t “his thing,” he was a great brother-in-law and Ricky’s best man at our wedding. Despite
disliking toasts, he gave one. He told me “if I can do it, you can too” while nursing school was hard. His strength and bearhugs were our favorites. Our family and his family and friends worldwide revered him. Dan met folks from Peru, as well as others who worked in restaurants, on the mountain, and at O’Reilly’s, on his mission trips. He made
everyone feel like they were the only ones in the room with his sleazy, “I’m up to no good” smile while trying to cheer them up with jokes. He didn’t hide his feelings, found God in nature and snowmobiling, enjoyed spending time with my sister and friends, and loved local auto meetings. He wore his heart. Dan helped his friends and family no matter the challenge or distance. My family and the Neil family are grateful for the casseroles, flowers delivered to us and at
the grave, sincere messages, and Dan photos and videos. It shows us how dearly God loved Dan and loves us now. To preserve Dan’s legacy, we wish to share your memories, films, and photos with his future child. If you have any photos, movies, or stories, please text or message them to me or my family. I may be reached at (206)327-3204 or
via Instagram chat. I’d love to hear about Dan. Please contact me so I may combine these products and send them to my sister and Neil family. We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and support for our family and everyone affected by Dan’s accident. We have the hope that lives within our hearts, hope of the coming of the Lord”—Lindsey, on behalf of herself and the Beddoe family.
