The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Children’s Aid Society of Lanark County. Family of Jeanne and Chris What an incredible job he did (as always) at the all-candidates meeting that I just happened to attend. His incredibly powerful voice was unforgettable, and I will regret hearing it at future Remembrance Day ceremonies.

I’m sorry for your loss. Beckwith Township has suffered a terrible loss. Joyce Barb Brydges. My condolences go out to the Tyson family on the loss of Chris last week. Together, Chris and I served on the boards of the LTA and the Lanark Children’s Aid Society. Newer members would benefit greatly from his wealth of knowledge, as he had been involved in both groups for some time. The gatherings we have and the community as a whole will be poorer without him.

Your family has my deepest condolences. Sincerely, Clement, Barbara. Chris’s generosity extended to several organizations, including the Lanark Transportation Association. He put in a lot of time and effort, and now thousands of people may take advantage of this communal transportation service. His name and work will endure.
