Chris Haver Obituary, Death – It is with great sadness that I must inform everyone that my nephew Chris Haver passed away on Tuesday, 4/11/23. Joyce Haver, his mother, is currently handling funeral preparations and will update the community as soon as she has further news. Sincere condolences to Joyce and the rest of the family on the loss of Chris. Today, I found out about Chris. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you at this time. Too much misery has already befallen them.
Chris and I had been friends since he was seven. It’s just so unbelievable it hurts. I wish I had more to say but I simply cannot. Most of all, my heart goes out to joyce; no mother deserves to lose a kid. Chris was loved and respected by a wide network of exceptional people, and their loss has touched us all. Chris’s loved ones who will miss him deeply include his parents, Manley Chris and Sharon Haver of Clinton; his sister, Shanna Haver of Ypsilanti; his fiancee, Jennifer Aldridge of Kalamazoo; his grandmothers,
Bethany Haver of Metamora and Selma Leeber of Rochester; his beloved dog, Onyx; and many, many more. Both of his paternal grandparents—Edward Haver and Lewis Leeber preceded him in death. Chris’s cremation requests have been honored. Details regarding a memorial service are forthcoming. Mr. Haver’s ashes will be laid to rest in Brandon Twp.’s Seymour Lake Cemetery. Donations to the Haver-Halter JO Fund at Hillsdale College can be donated in lieu of flowers. The address is 33 East College Street; Hillsdale, Michigan 49242-9989. For the benefit of the Michigan Junior Olympic Youth Program. Muir Brothers Funeral Home, located in Lapeer, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
