Chea’von Moore Obituary, Death – The guy who was shot and murdered outside of Jefferson Community and Technical College on Monday, hours after multiple people were slain in a shooting at Old National Bank, has been named by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. He was 24 years old. Chea’von Moore was determined to be the identity of the deceased by the coroner. As he had been shot numerous times, his death was investigated as a possible homicide.
According to the authorities, the incident that took place near the intersection of Eighth and Chestnut Streets was unrelated to the shooting at the bank. A second victim, a female, who had been shot was transported to the hospital for treatment. The survivor has not been identified by the Louisville Metro Police Department, nor has the department offered an update on her current medical status. The suspects, according to the police, escaped the scene and are still at large. On Wednesday, a representative for the LPMD stated that there have been no new developments in the case.
Nikolette Langdon Rost, a spokesperson at JCTC, stated that neither Moore nor the second injured victim were students at the school at the time of the incident. They were participating in a program put on by Goodwill Industries that was being held on campus that day in the Technical Campus Building, which is located at 800 W. Chestnut St. According to the documents kept by the state, Moore was able to apply for parole in March following his time served in jail on a manslaughter conviction in 2016. Moore was only 17 years old when the crime was committed by him.
