Chance Hunt Obituary, Cincinnati, OH. Found Dead, Father seek For Answers

Chance Hunt Obituary, Death – Born on August 1, 1980 in Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Chance McArthur Hunt of 98 Shiloh Road passed away on October 2, 2014 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The late Tammy Lamb Chavis and Claudie Mack Hunt raised him. Mr. Hunt’s paternal grandparents, Mary L. Morgan and Horace Mitchell Lamb, as well as his maternal great-grandfather, Wallace Holmes, as well as his paternal paternal uncle and aunt, Early and Ann Locklear, and paternal paternal cousins, Elizabeth Davis and Jerone Locklear, all predeceased him.

He was survived by his daughter, Harley Hunt of Myrtle Beach, SC; his biological father, Ricky Emanuel of Baltimore, MD; his “dad” Bill Holmes and wife Renee Holmes, and their son Garret; his stepfather, Ricky Chavis of Shannon; and his siblings, Nicky Chavis of Shannon and Ricky Chavis, Jr. of Lumberton. A lovely and generous soul, that man. His great-grandmother Genova Holmes (he was the apple of her eye), grandfather Warren Morgan Chance, aunt and uncle Winston and Arlene Lowery, aunt and uncle Jan Lamb.

Karen and Ronnie Locklear of Lumberton, Jamie Lamb and Paul Locklear of Pembroke, uncle Horace Mitchell, II and Teresa Oxendine of Panama City Beach, FL, and aunt and uncle Gwen and Junior Scott of Lumberton will all miss him dearly. Uncle Kenneth Carter and Aunt Jill Lamb are also residents of the household. We count it as a great fortune to share in your adventure. His “Who’s your favorite cousin?” cousins include Nicole Lamb, Chassidy, Travis, Ricky, Desmond, and Payton; Jeff; Johnna; Dino; Julina; Zsa Zsa; Nickolas; Tola; Landen; Christina; Latosha; Tanya; Dr. Katera Chavis; Jennifer; and Shawanna. In response, they might say, “Chance.” John Hunt of Pembroke, Wales, was his closest confidant and brother.
