Audrey Merritt Car accident Woodstock GA – All of this happened last night when I was on the phone with Kim Cantrell Neese. Please remember this wonderful family in your thoughts and prayers. Kim, I love you and keep you in my thoughts and prayers. (According to Kim) Please pray for our family; my son, Brandon Neese, was killed in an automobile accident yesterday afternoon. To say we are stunned is an understatement.
I adored Audrey Merritt as if she were my own daughter; God, please grant me understanding and give our family the fortitude to face the challenges ahead. She adored my son, and he adored her as well. He is in pain and requires prayers. Please pray for him, as well as her father, Charles Merritt, and her sister, Emma Merritt. We’re all going to miss her terribly, but knowing she loved God provides us some solace. Audrey Merritt, my beautiful and precious niece, was killed in a vehicle accident yesterday night. Please keep our family in your prayers as we go through this difficult time.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to have spent time with her just a few weeks ago. With her sweetness and talent, she was a brilliant light wherever she went. I was present on the day she was born, and what a gift she has been ever since. Emma Merritt, together with her father, Charles Merritt, and mother, Karen (my sister), require extra prayers of consolation today. Today, I’m hanging on to this verse.
So it is with you: now is your time of mourning, but I will see you again, and you will rejoice, and no one will steal your joy. John 16:22 “It is never easy to lose someone we knew and loved.” But Jesus Christ came to conquer death, which He accomplished via His resurrection from the dead. We no longer need to be afraid of death if we know Christ.”
