Ashleigh VanHorn Obituary, Death – The death of Barbara Ashley Van Horn, who resided in Winchester, Kentucky, has been brought to our attention, and we would like to express our sincere sympathies to you. Barbara was a resident of Versailles, Kentucky, where she was born. She passed away at the age of 83, and she was survived by her family and friends, who are now grieving her loss.

Her brother Frank Ashley and both of her parents, Harrison I. Ashley and Virginia Mitchell Ashley, had already passed away before she was born. She was given their names as a tribute. The only members of her immediate family who have survived her death are her son, Lee Rose Van (Deborah), her granddaughters Elena Rose Van Horn and Alexander Vincent Van Horn, and her brother, Bill Ashley. Her husband also predeceased her.
She also leaves behind a large number of nieces, nephews, and cousins, in addition to those she was directly related to. In addition to a number of nieces, nephews, and relatives, she is survived by one son, Lee (Deborah) Rose Van Horn; one brother, Bill Ashley; two grandchildren, Elena Rose Van Horn and Alexander Vincent Van Horn; and a number of other family members. Her parents and her brother Frank Ashley had all previously passed away before her passing. In her family, she was the only child ever born.
On the afternoon of Monday, January 24, 2022, at one o’clock in the afternoon, a graveside service will be held at Winchester Cemetery under the direction of the Reverend Dr. Mark Johnson. The viewing is scheduled to take place between the hours of 11 AM and 12:45 PM. On Monday, January 24, 2022, this gathering will take place at the Scobee Funeral Home in the local area.
