Ariyannah Crosby and Saniya Stevens Obituary, Death – An auto collision took place on Charleston Highway on April 9, and the Orangeburg County Coroner is currently working to identify the victims of the crash. According to the authorities, Ariyannah Crosby, age six, and Saniya Stevens, age three, both of Quince Circle Summerville, passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the automobile crash around 5:05 p.m.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that a collision that occurred on a route in the Midlands on Sunday resulted in the deaths of two young children. According to the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office, Ariyannah Crosby, age 6, and Saniya Stevens, age 3, both of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away as a result of the injuries they sustained in the accident. According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt of the Highway Patrol, the collision involving a single car took place at five o’clock in the evening in the Bowman neighborhood of Orangeburg County.
According to Bolt, a 2017 GMC Terrain was traveling east on U.S. 178 when it went off the right side of the road, slammed into a ditch, and then hit a tree. According to Bolt, the man who was driving the SUV was 27 years old and suffered injuries that required him to be transported to a local hospital via helicopter. There was no other information that could be provided about his condition. There were no reports of any further injuries. There was no indication as to whether or not everyone in the SUV was using a safety belt or other type of restraint. There was no information available on what prompted the SUV to go off the road; however, the Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
